Former Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission boss Prof Patrick Lumumba has been taken to court for alleged plagiarism and intellectual theft.
The complainant, Mr Wachira Maina, has accused Prof Lumumba of plagiarising an article he did and was published in the East African newspaper while that of PLO was published in the Law Society of Kenya journal.
Mr Maina claims that Prof Lumumba wrote a 10,000 words essay titled From Jurisprudence to Poliprudence: The Kenyan Presidential Election Petition 2013, which was published in the journal with nearly 5,000 words lifted from an article he wrote and was published on April 20, 2015.
He accused the prolific English speaker of behaving in an unethical manner for plagirising his article. Mr Maina is demanding compensation for intellectual theft.
