Another El-Adde? Al Shabaab claims it has taken over another KDF base in Somalia after a successful ambush today morning

Al Shabaab’s military spokesman has revealed that the terror group has successfully seized a Kenyan military base at Kulbiyow, Somalia early today morning.
“Two mujahideen rammed suicide car bombs into the base in Kulbiyow town before storming it. After hand-to-hand fighting, we have taken over the base,” Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, Al Shabaab’s military operation spokesman, was quoted by Reuters.
The number of casualties still remains unknown; the Kenyan government is yet to confirm the claim by Al Shabaab.
Today’s attack at Kulbiyow comes as a shock to Kenyans as only a year ago on 15^th of January, Al Shabaab ambushed a Kenyan base at El Adde and killed over 60 soldiers.
