music singer DK Kwenye Beat is ready to take his relationship with his girlfriend to the next level.
The ‘Asusu’ hitmaker, real name David Kilonzo, is set to wed his long-time girlfriend, Sherry Shanice, before the turn of the year. He confirmed to a local daily pull out that plans are underway to have the ceremony in December.
“We have had a successful relationship over the years, made plans, helped each other out and are now ready to take it to the next level,” the singer said.
Asked what it was like dating someone out of the showbiz scene, DK responded: “It really doesn’t matter whether a couple is in the same industry or not.
“Trusting and being companions is the most important element. I am also happy we are not in the same industry because she brings a different perspective to our relationship.”
