Two men in Nairobi bite police officers while resisting arrest.
The two; Henry Adongo and David Adongo were being sought for alleged assault offences they had jointly committed.

In an incident report recorded at Dagoretti Police Station two officers Grace Syombua and Kelvin Mutugi sustained human bites injuries while in the line of duty after the two suspects unsuccessfully attempted to resist arrest.
"The officers were in Kabiria area where they had gone to arrest two suspects for the offence of assault. During the arrest the suspects turned violent and resisted. According to the report the two officers did not loosen their grip and apprehended the two suspects.
The police officers were later taken to hospital where they were treated and discharged in fair condition.

According to the report, the two suspects were detained awaiting to be arraigned in court with various counts.
The incident comes at a moment where Kenyan police officers have been at a high risk of attacks from civilians, a situation Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet said would not be tolerated.
