Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia Agree to End Karabakh War

Armenia and Azerbaijan announced earlier today a ceasefire agreement on Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh region under the agreement signed with Russia.

Russian peacekeepers have been deployed earlier today in the devastated region.

The plan, signed by Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, which began operating at midnight last night, has killed thousands of people, left many homeless and threatened to plunge the region into war.

Under the agreement, Azerbaijan will take control of all its territories, including the second largest city in the region, Download, and Armenian troops will surrender control of several other areas between now and December.

Nagorno-Karabakh war crimes as part of a ceasefire plan that President Vladmir Putin has said will pave the way for a lasting political solution to the region's crisis.
