Tanzanian artist Harmonize’s new single dubbed Ushamba created controversies with the majority of his fans criticizing him for forcing a feud between him and fellow Tanzanian bongo star Diamond Platnumz.
Not only were the song lyrics a direct attack at Diamond but Harmonize went all out and included Diamond’s look-alike model by the name Pacha Mondi in the music video.
He used the model to portray Diamond as a womanizer even though the model has come out to claim that he was duped by the artist into playing a role that he little knew about how it would be used.
However, Harmonize in his defence has insisted that he does not have any beef with Diamond and that depicting him in such a way was solely for show biz.
He also praised the model for taking part in the video which according to him made history. “Shout out to Pacha Mondi for coming through.
We made history. I just love the guy… no hard feelings. It is just entertainment. I was just born to it. We are not here to piss somebody… don’t hate just appreciate. No hard feelings.
This is our culture,” explained Harmonize. Harmonize and Diamond fell out last year following unknown differences with Harmonize in recent past revealing that he was forced by Wasafi label to pay millions of Tanzanian money to free himself from their contract.
They have since been rivals who are believed not to see eye to eye with one another.
