US President-elect Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris, have delivered their first speeches of gratitude following their landslide victory in the by-elections, with Trump refusing to recognize the results.
Speaking at Wilmington Stadium in his state of Delaware, Biden told thousands of his supporters that the Americans had given him and Kamala Harris a clear victory that they would use to restore what he called "American spirit."
In his speech, Biden promised to be a unifying and not divisive president, in what appears to be a slap in the face of his predecessor, Donald Trump, whose "America First" statement is said to bring major divisions within and outside the United States.
Speaking directly to voters of African descent, who together with the Muslims voted for him in the by-elections, Biden told them they have always been as supportive of him as he is.
The KINGA BOY POST.
