Five Terror Suspects killed In Uganda

Police in Uganda say they have killed five suspected terrorists, including one Islamist leader and 21 others have been arrested, following a manhunt for two suicide bombers on Tuesday in the capital Kampala.

Tuesday's attack left six people dead and more than 30 injured.

Police are also looking for a second religious leader who is suspected of recruiting youths to carry out terrorist attacks.

Uganda's police department has accused Sheikh Muhammed Kirevu, also known as Abbas Kirevu, of recruiting members of the Allied Democratic Forces-ADF and reviving ADF rebel groups in Kampala.

Since Tuesday's attack, security agencies in Uganda have carried out searches in various parts of the country.

Police in Uganda face terrorist attacks, calling the attacks a domestic terrorist attack by the Allied Democratic Forces ADF.

On Wednesday anti-terror police officers killed four terror suspects in the West of the country, who were allegedly crossing the border into the Democratic Republic of Congo.
