Joke Silva Reveals Her Husband's Illness

Longtime Nigerian film actress Nollywood Ms. Joke Silva has revealed for the first time the illness that her husband Olu Jacobs is suffering from. The old man who is also a very experienced actor in Nigeria disappeared for a while from the public eye and later he and his wife published pictures that showed him in poor health.

The last time he appeared in public was during the Africa International Film Festival-AFRIFF on Saturday 13 November 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria where he was accompanied by his wife Joke Silva.

Bi. Joke was interviewed by a Nigerian journalist where she revealed that her husband has been battling a dementia that has plagued the brain for years now.

"I say this in public for the first time, this is the problem we have been facing as a family. This disease causes him problems because he does not understand what is going on in his body. ” explained the Joke.

Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs have been married for 32 years now and have children. In October this year 2021 sparked online rumors that old Olu Jacobs had passed away which Joke denied.

The old man won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Africa International Film Festival-AFRIFF.
