Musicians Join To Remember E - Sir

Prominent musicians in Kenya have joined forces to remember the late E-Sir. The artists include Nyashinski, Talia Oyando, Nameless, Wahu, Wyre, Ochungulo, JuaCali, Mr. Lenny, Big Pin, Motif and Trio Mio were seen preparing a video for the song while wearing the costumes that E-Sir used to wear.

Nameless through his show with his wife Wahu "This Love" once talked about plans to compose a song to honor E-Sir and they would include his brother Habib.

Reports indicate that preparations for the tablet have been under way for two years now.

Wahu says the song is satisfying because it praises E-Sir something that gives him pleasure as E-Sir touched many through his music.

E-Sir, whose real name is Issah Mmari, passed away on March 16, 2003, after being involved in an accident on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway on his way back to Nairobi after performing at a concert in Nakuru. He was accompanied by his friend who is also a Nameless musician.
