It was a great day for the patients at the Defense Forces Memorial Hospital, after the hospital management rewarded them and joined them in celebrating Christmas.
The ceremony was presided over by the hospital's chief medical officer, Brigadier Dr. Charles King’ori, brought a smile and relief to the patients as their hopes of recovery were revived.
The hospital staff cut the cake and presented the patients with gifts, including greeting cards.
In his Christmas message to the nation, President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is also the Commander-in-Chief, reminded Kenyans to show their love for Jesus Christ by giving and sharing with the less fortunate in the community.
Christmas Day is celebrated by Christians every December 25th, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
