Appointee President William Ruto's blogger Dennis Itumbi might have stage-dealt with his own kidnapping and asserted torment.

This was intimated by cops exploring the supposed seizing of Ruto's man before he was unloaded in Kasarani.

Talking later his snatching, Kiambu Officer Commanding Station Stephen expressed that Itumbi asserted Kidnapping was accounted for by UDA Director of Communications Wanjohi Githae and Benjamin Imende.

Yet, as per the OCS, it became odd when they requested that Githae and Imende give them Dennis Itumbi's telephone number so they could follow him since they straight declined.

"We mentioned Mr. Imende and Mr. Githae to furnish us with the portable number of Mr. Itumbi's telephone number so we could follow it yet they denied, something that kept us thinking," he said.

In any case, police are exploring Itumbi's supposed snatching.

In an assertion delivered on Friday, National Police Service (NPS) Spokesperson Bruno Shioso said they will look to build up conditions encompassing the occurrence.

He engaged individuals from the public who might have data on the equivalent to answer to any police headquarters or their hotline numbers.

Police said the matter had since been accounted for at Thindigua Police Post and booked under OB number 10/23/12/2021.
