Konshens, the Jamaican dancehall phenomenon, landed in Kenya on Monday night ahead of his much-anticipated show in Nairobi.
Konshens, who has a sizable following throughout the nation, is set to bring the heat to the Carnivore Restaurant on the 31st.
He'll be joined on stage by a stellar lineup of local performers, including boy band Sauti Sol, rappers Khaligraph Jones and Fena, and Benzema.
On Monday, December 27, the artist posted a picture on Instagram just after boarding a Kenya-bound aircraft from John F. Kennedy Airport, labeling it, "To the Motherland."
"To Nairobi with love," he captioned an Instagram post in which he clutched a glass of champagne.
In 2019, the dancehall king visited Kenya for the first time.
His presence in Kenya coincides with a heated discussion over the status of the Kenyan music business, which he was drawn into by comedian Eric Omondi.
