President Uhuru Kenyatta should dissolve and replace his whole Cabinet, according to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
In a long Facebook post, the divisive legislator urged President Uhuru to fire his present Cabinet in order to'save the economy.'
According to Kuria, Kenya's economy is in serious crisis, and most of the cabinet members will be campaigning for posts in the general elections in 2022, and so will be distracted.
"Dear President Uhuru Kenyatta, I am writing to express my heartfelt condolences. The Bloomberg study has backed up what we've been saying.
"The economy is in shambles. "90% of your Cabinet, beginning with your CS for National Treasury, is focused on running for seats in 2022," Kuria stated.
"Kindly disband your whole Cabinet and replace them with a private-sector Rescue Team to assist you through the 7-month transition," he said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has fewer than nine months remaining in his second and last five-year tenure.
However, a public spat with his Deputy, William Ruto, has pigeonholed his second term, dividing the Cabinet.
Deputy President William Ruto's faithful Cabinet Secretaries are thought to be biding their time before jumping ship to back the DP's presidential aspirations.
