Wilson Ajuang Aminda was charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief
According to the indictment, the co-accused and others who were not brought to court deliberately and illegally damaged five parts of five Kenyan government vehicles on November 10, 2021 in Kondele Road, a small county.
Aminda was also charged with inciting violence in a manner that could lead to instability, illegally.
The suspect however denied both charges against him and was released on bail of 500,000 shillings or an alternative to 100,000 shillings in cash.
The judge ordered that the case be heard again on February 7, 2021.
On November 10 while Ruto was on a tour of the Nyanza area, his motorcade was pelted with stones by a group of youths and he was forced to interrupt his speech.
Police tried to control the incident by dispersing the crowd using tear gas.
Aminda was arrested on Monday after being linked to the attack.
